Until recently, YouTube Music only allowed premium members to drop music for connected smart speakers or TVs. Now free users have that option, too.

This update also includes improved integration with Google Assistant This means users will be able to invoke this personal assistant to play YouTube Music playlists with a simple voice command.
Commands such as “Okay, Google, turn on my favorite songs” should be enough to make the tunes sound smooth. Users from all over have reported that they can use different commands to play their songs. It seems to be currently working in the U.K., U.S., Brazil, France, Austria, Czech Republic and other countries. So perhaps it will be available in most countries, or soon will be.
In addition to these changes, Google is also updating YouTube music, adding various new tabs to the home page, updating the chart research tab and adding daily mixes similar to Spotify. These updates are distributed in 57 countries, and Google is constantly improving.
